The Government of Hong Kong has commissioned the Royal Mint to strike a limited issue of $1,000 gold coins to mark the Year of The Ox.

This is one of the coin in a series to mark the 12 lunar years which fall in the western calendar years 1976-87. This is the BU version. We also have the Proof version.

Material : 22 carat gold

Diameter : 28.4 mm

Weigh : 15.976 Grams

Face Value : HK dollars 1,000

Mintage : 30,000 pieces
